ADRE enforcement is expected before renewal for noncompliant licensees

DO NOT WAIT FOR YOUR RENEWAL DATE Arizona REALTORS® has advised CAAR that ADRE is expected to begin a 90-day warning period later in August 2026. At the end of that period, ADRE is expected to suspend noncompliant licensees even if their renewal date has not arrived.

Please take five minutes today to log in to your ADRE licensee portal and verify that a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card is on file. Do not assume your status is current, and do not wait for your next license renewal.

ADRE’s Published Position

Effective March 5, 2026, ADRE Substantive Policy Statement 2026.01 states that a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card is required for all current holders and original applicants of an ADRE license. Although the statement is advisory in form, it expressly describes the Department’s current policy and enforcement position.

This is an ADRE requirement, not a CAAR requirement. CAAR cannot view your card’s issue or expiration dates and cannot verify compliance for you.

Take These Three Steps Today

• Go to the ADRE licensee portal and sign in to your account.
• Select Manage My Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Confirm whether the card is current and review its issue and expiration dates. If it is expired, missing, or nearing expiration, begin the process immediately and reserve a CAAR event appointment.

Arizona Livescan will provide on-site fingerprinting at the CAAR office. Choose a one-hour arrival window and come at any time during the hour you select.

Choose the Service Option That Fits You

OPTION 1: FULL SERVICE	OPTION 2: PRE-REGISTER WITH AZDPS
$114 total, paid directly to Arizona Livescan	$43 to Arizona Livescan, plus the state fee paid separately to AZDPS (vendor estimate: approximately $68)
Bring a valid government-issued ID. Arizona Livescan provides the application, captures fingerprints, supplies the AZDPS payment, and submits the complete packet. No advance AZDPS registration is required.	Before the event, create an account at psp.azdps.gov. Complete the Non-IVP application and pay the state fee. Bring a valid government-issued ID and the Registration Number shown on your payment receipt. Arizona Livescan captures and submits your fingerprints.

Payment and Preparation Notes

• On site, Arizona Livescan accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards, and business checks. Personal checks and counter checks are not accepted.
• For Non-IVP cards, AZDPS requires a new set of fingerprints as part of the renewal process.
