Get to know our 2025 Board of Directors Candidates
Hello, my name is Heather LeBlanc, Branch Manager and Escrow Officer at Great American Title Agency. This year I am celebrating 24 years in the escrow & title industry!
When I first transitioned from teaching into escrow, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. But what I did know was how to adapt, how to pivot, and how to stay on my toes—skills that every teacher knows well. Little did I realize just how valuable those skills would be in this fast-paced, ever-evolving industry.
Over the years, I’ve learned that escrow is more than just paperwork and deadlines. It’s about trust. It’s about guiding people through one of the most important transactions of their lives. And it’s about being the calm in the storm when things get complicated. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible professionals, learning from each challenge, and celebrating each success.
For the past four years, I’ve also had the joy of being part of this amazing community. Your support, collaboration, and shared wisdom have made a lasting impact on me. You’ve helped me grow not just as a professional, but as a person. I’ve built relationships that go beyond business—relationships rooted in trust, respect, and shared purpose.
Each day I’m filled with gratitude—for the mentors who guided me, the colleagues who stood by me, and the clients who trusted me. And I look forward to continuing this journey with the same passion, integrity, and commitment that brought me here. As I look ahead, I remain committed to learning, evolving, and giving back to this community that has given me so much.
I’m Sarah Murray, a dedicated Realtor® with Coldwell Banker proudly serving the Rim Country region, including Payson, AZ. I work with both buyers and sellers, helping guide them through each stage of the real estate process with confidence, clarity, and care.
With a professional background in finance, I offer my clients a strong foundation in market analysis and negotiation. My real estate philosophy is rooted in three core values: client focus, integrity, and a commitment to understanding and achieving your unique goals. Whether you’re buying your first home or preparing to list your current property, I’m here to provide expert guidance and personalized support every step of the way.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy hands-on projects like refurbishing furniture and spending time with my family. Staying active in the local community and participating in area events keeps me grounded and inspired to serve others with purpose and passion.
Let’s connect—I’d love to help you make your next move in Rim Country.
I am grateful to have called Payson and the Rim Country home for most of my life. It’s where I grew up and where my husband, Henry, and I raised our three children. My real estate career began as a residential appraiser, giving me a strong foundation in property valuation and market knowledge. After 12 years as an appraiser, I earned my real estate license and have been a REALTOR® for 12 years. In 2018, I became the Broker and Owner of Coldwell Banker Bishop Realty. I’m fortunate to lead a team of agents who share my passion for serving clients and our community.
I previously served seven years as a board member and on several committees. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for teamwork, advocacy, and the importance of strong leadership. I believe association leadership is about listening to members, representing their needs, and strengthening our profession.
Education is also one of my passions. I enjoy supporting schools, contributing to learning opportunities, and helping REALTORS® adapt to a rapidly evolving industry. I believe informed, empowered agents bring lasting value to their clients and communities.
It would be an honor to serve as Secretary, and I look forward to continuing to strengthen CAAR for our members.
As a dedicated resident and real estate professional deeply rooted in Northern Arizona, I bring a wealth of experience, community commitment, and a passion for elevating the real estate industry. I’ve been married for 46 years and the proud father of two children raised right here in Payson, AZ, I have a passion for family values and local pride that define our tight-knit communities in the Rim Country.
With over 15 years of service as a Realtor in Payson, I have built a strong reputation for navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of Northern Arizona’s real estate market. From pine-covered mountain properties to family homes in our growing towns, I understand the intricacies of serving buyers, sellers, and investors in this stunning region.
My leadership extends beyond real estate into vital community roles. I previously served as President of the Rim Country Hospice Foundation, where I helped with compassionate end-of-life care for local families. Additionally, as a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern Gila County Sanitation District, I contributed to essential infrastructure improvements that support sustainable growth in our area.
As familiar face in CAAR, I was a member for five years, including three as Treasurer, where I ensured fiscal responsibility and helped guide the association through key initiatives. Now, I’m eager to join the “New Board” and build on that foundation.
“I’d love to be a part of the New Board with CAAR, helping to deliver more value to our members while keeping the organization on track to be one of the best in Arizona. By developing transparent and open board policies, we can attract new members and business partners, positioning CAAR as the best in the business—not just for our real estate membership, but for the entire Northern Arizona community we proudly serve.
I moved to Rim Country early last year, and immediately fell in love with the community and Payson in particular. Prior to becoming a REALTOR, I had a robust career in IT leadership and software development, which has provided me with a number of tools and skills that translate well to this industry. Coming from a technical background, I have been able to leverage these skills to differentiate myself through integration of social media, IDX-enabled webpages, and other online marketing and management tools that have not been widely adopted in this region. I want to extend what I know and am capable of to benefit the local real estate community at large, as our systems, tools and processes could benefit from standardization and modernization. As an IT leader I have extensive experience leading enterprise system upgrades and data migrations, and can utilize my background to help CAAR implement best practices that benefit both clients and REALTORs. I’ve learned that to remain current in the fast-paced world of data and information systems its critical to constantly be auditing and pivoting to the right tools and to remain agile when adopting new technologies. We have an opportunity to allow advanced CRM, standardized appointment showing tools, and AI-enhanced information systems to all work for us.
Technology solutions aside, I also bring fresh perspectives. I view my lack of extended real-estate industry experience as a net benefit to the community. Often times a new set of eyes can identify process problems or other gaps that have become invisible to individuals that have been entrenched in the system for years. This diversity of perspective can serve to shed new insights and potential solutions to problems, or even just to improve efficiencies of existing work flows. Additionally, I have learned through experience that if the right people to not step up into leadership, someone else always will, and its important for all of us that local, invested individuals are making decisions that benefit the community. To that very point I have begun to get involved with RAPAC as well, to eventually ensure that the needs and desires of Central Arizona are heard, known, and addressed at a state and federal level.
Longer term, I see becoming a member of the board as only the beginning of my involvement with this community. With approximately twenty more years of full-time work left in my career, I want to use that time as effectively as possible. I am eager to eventually pursue a position as treasurer, secretary, and eventually as the president of CAAR. Whatever capacity I find myself in, I am eager to help drive positive change and ensure Central Arizona remains a modern and effective region to practice real estate for agents, clients, and vendors alike.
